About this deal

Alejandro is so much more than Heir to The Montoya Corporation, he’s a ruthless powerful business man that’s not to be messed with, he doesn’t do feelings! ….Ever!!!! Living in the UK with her sons, husband and cute but grumpy dog, she writes stories of heroines with determination and steamy alpha males willing to torch the world for the women they love. They talk dirty and act even dirtier. As she gets to know this stranger, this powerful man, a gradual awareness comes over her that maybe he isn’t the total monster she has been led to believe he is. Their shared secrets of their pasts leads her to discover he may be an ordinary man and possibly worthy of her attention. This book loves to tells us what’s happening but refuses to show us! No descriptive language, no painting of a scene, therefore, you’ll never get embedded into the book. It’s like listening to a boring person talk about something that happened to them. “Yeah, I hear ya, it sounds like it would be a great time, I’ll just have to take your word for it I guess.” Is my response to everything Alana or Alejandro “feels”.

I'm a contemporary, dark romance author. I love to read and write about hot, filthy talking alphas that would burn the world down for the women they love. Thank you HI I was told that I need a super librarian to help me merge the two copies of my books Ryan Rule { New York Ruthless Book 1 } Sadie Kincaid burst onto the romance novelist scene like a force of nature. Successfully breaking into the romance genre with the first book is a huge accomplishment and in two short years Ms. Kincaid has established herself as a romance writer with hot, steamy, sexy stories to be read.Authors, if you are a member of the Goodreads Author Program, you can edit information about your own books. Find out how in this guide. You know you have read a great book when it is all that you think about..... even hours after reading it. Alana agreed to marry Alejandro to help her father out. she didn't like Alejandro one bit but as time goes on he is not what she believes he is. Alejandro was everything I look for in a mafia leader, possessive, powerful, gorgeous and a master in the bedroom. Samantha Donovan doesn’t see the dark side of Gabriel. She’s escaping a life of hell and his touch, his glances, and his smile is what she needs. She also needs help getting away from the dangerous, determined man who refuses to let her go.

Instead of showing us their interaction as they are pretending to be a couple and outrageously flirting with each other, our author just tells us that happened. No dialogue, just a paragraph saying, “Yup, we did this.” And what’s worst is this is the first time these two have supposedly acted romantic with each other, even if it is an act. You would think that would warrant an actual scene rather than just a drive by, half paragraph, surmising. This is said paragraph: Jessie has one thing she wants most in life and, finally, she is that close to getting it. Now the Ryan brothers are stopping her from her dream. But Jessie is a tornado, unstoppable, and she’s going to wreak destruction on the Ryans. She has secrets and a past. She can be their undoing or she could be their redemption. Of course, the FMC isn’t the spoiled princess he assumes she is. She’s kind enough to play nice with his mom. She ditches the faux charity crew of Stepford Wives for an actual needy charity cause. Her favorite meal is a burger, not a salad.

I swallowed as they drew nearer. What if she hated me? What if she was one of those mothers who never thought anyone was good enough for her son? Why the hell did I even care? Despite Alana being my wife in name alone, for some inexplicable reason, I couldn’t bring myself to cheat on her on our wedding night. Alejandro Montoya is the King of the LA underworld. Alana Carmichael has just become his wife. It was good for business, he needed an heir and she was trying to keep her father out of prison.

He is fierce and unyielding. I should hate him. But, the way he looks at me makes me feel more alive than I’ve ever felt before, and his touch sets my skin on fire. Alana is marrying Alejandro but not for love. She is marrying to save her father’s life. She will never love this monster of a man. Bow down to this king? Never. All across the USA, people are showing up dead. The deaths don't appear to be connected in any way until one particular death occurs and gets the Secretary of Defense's attention. He arranges for a task force to investigate. The chemistry between both Alejandro and Alana is electrifying!!!!! He might be in control but she holds his heart. The supporting characters were fantastic! I really liked Jax and Hugo! Oh Hugo ... Sigh This book was erotic, sensual and sexy hot!! Both Alejandro and Alana together are what fantasies are made of!This forced arranged marriage should leave her devoid of any feelings of love or lust towards Alejandro. She’s confused when he sets her skin on fire with just his touch. She shouldn’t be feeling this way. She should hate him. Her body is thinking otherwise. The Ryan Rule series is suspenseful and full of action. This dark romance has mature themes and there is a recommendation that it is intended only for mature readers; the publisher gives trigger warnings. Books 1, 2, and 3 end in cliffhangers. Book 4 has a good resolution to the story arc with a “happily ever after.” A few hours later, the three of us were sitting on the patio. We’d eaten a beautiful lunch and Maria had regaled me with dozens of stories of Alejandro as a child. He had rolled his eyes throughout and admonished her for the more embarrassing ones, but she had simply laughed and told him not to be so grumpy. For our part, Alejandro and I had played the adoring couple, and I took the opportunity to flirt outrageously with him every chance I got.”

I was an ARC reviewer for the book Fierce King by author Sadie Kincaid. My review is based on my own opinions. Alejandro is a violent criminal who dominates the Underworld and he marries Alana for a business deal, his father forces him into. This book will never be finished. The writing is not good, the premise, story, or characters- it just wasn’t good. Alana is a good person, I like at least that about her. But I’m unable to fall into that because, even if it’s not from Alana’s perspective, the author is truly overdoing it with trying to depict Alana like “she’s not other girls” through Alejandro’s perspective. It ruins it. Like, we don’t need comparison for her to be a wonderful person that Alejandro didn’t expect. But alas, instead of showing us through beautiful language, plot and writing, that author finds the basic-est way to “prove” that Alana isn’t… HOT DAMN!! Sadie Kincaid totally channelled her “Inner Sex Goddess” when she was writing this book! Alejandro Montoya is so damn hot, even the Devil won’t let him in the gates!!All of Ms. Kincaid’s stories fill the romance story requirements very well with an abundance of HEA or HFN. He’s what? A big, bad mafia king refined to play the part of a wealthy business man. He sounds like neither. He sounds like a middle-aged woman’s creation of such. His character’s voice and mannerisms sound like the author, not his proposed character. It’s so convenient and weird to have both of their mothers unknowing of their sham of a marriage. Like…why are these two women portrayed as these “feeble” things that can’t understand business marriages? If 25 year Alana can understand it, then at least one of those grown ass women could as well. And if not even one of those grown women could understand it, then maybe the premise really makes no type of sense. The Ryan Rule series has a Reverse Harem (RH) theme. Typically the RH story has a group of guys and only one girl who all have platonic relationships to start and during the story one guy will emerge as the love interest and the story will progress romantically. These stories are “Happily Ever After (HEA). In this era, HEA no longer means marriage and babies, but rather now it means a happy ending or it can be Happy For Now (HFN).
